Zehlon Reach is a large swampy area that dominates much of the central northern shore of the island of Istan. There is a large fishing village towards the northwestern corner of this area and a small docking platform towards the northern center. The docking platform appears to be used by corsairs and seems to be maintained by a shady trader. In the southeastern portion of Zehlon Reach, there are some old ruins of what appears to be several ancient buildings.

Zehlon Reach is situated to the northeast of Jokanur Diggings. The primary quest that will first bring a character here is the Honorable General.
Many other secondary quests will lead to and take place here, such as Student Jin and Student Sousuke, To Dye For, and the Cult of the Stone Face.

- Interactive objects
- Complete exploration of this area contributes approximately 3.1% to the Elonian Cartographer title track.
- Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests requires defeating around 245 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 222 to 264.
- Starting from Blacktide Den or Beknur Harbor and arriving here via Cliffs of Dohjok will enable a party of 8 instead of 4.
- Both the Stormseed Jacarandas, the Ridgeback Skale, and the Skale Blighters in this area come in different levels. Remember to check their levels before attacking if your party is still at a low level.
- The eastern half of the area has many Skale Blighters capable of causing widespread Disease. Consider bringing some Condition removal or Health Regeneration skills.
- A small island to the east of the village is littered with a few corpses. Approaching that island will cause 4 random Corsairs to spawn.
- Hidden Mandragors can be encountered in several locations: one a little northwest from the Jokanur Diggings outpost, one a little north from the Cliffs of Dohjok exit, and a few near the central Plant-infested area.
- Kohanu and Shaudok will always initiate their conversation for A Loose Cannon and A Peaceful Solution.
- Hatuk will always initiate his dialogue for Secret Passage.
- Several hostile Hungry Skale of the quest Skale and Magic Compass will always spawn.
- Trapped Voices for the quest Voices in the Night can always be seen.
