[edit] I finally ask

Wtf is with the Misery fetish? Titani Uth Ertan

Wtf are you talking about? Misery 17:39, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
It's because of his awesome user page. -- FreedomBound 17:40, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
I quote: "Misery's sexuality is sexy." "Misery is a sexual being." "Isn't Misery hot?" etc etc etc. You know exactly what I'm quoting about! Titani Uth Ertan 17:45, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I guess I am quite sensual. Sorry, I'll try to be less so. Misery 17:46, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
You completely missed the point... and made mine clearer. Wtf? Titani Uth Ertan 17:53, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
I think you may have missed my point. It's not something I control, you would have to ask the people who find me so. Misery 17:56, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

People who stalk Misery and are seeing this: Wtf? Titani Uth Ertan 17:57, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

misery is sexy. I hear that the new Merriam-Webster will include the word mizzles. NuVII 18:04, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
I pleasure myself nightly to vent-recordings of Misery's soft-yet-manly voice. His accent always manages to get me going. ··· Danny Pew Pew 19:59, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
So, Titani: ur saying you can has no miserable yearnings? U not find such user sensually sexxxy? Not a sexual being? Unhot doubleminus? I think you doth protest too much.   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:53, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
May I be the first to say, my dear sir, wat? ··· Danny Pew Pew 21:13, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Auron: No, but it was obvious. Titani Uth Ertan 16:24, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
I specifically meant the part where her msn was not working. Misery 16:27, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes, that's why I said MSN and not AIM or facebook or IRC. -Auron 16:32, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) One could actually plausibly argue that User:Auron was requesting User:Raine Valen to fix her MSN. Most Japanese Greetings 16:33, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
An interesting interpretation. Misery 16:36, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Interesting, yes, but I prefer people to be as precise as possible, to avoid misinterpretations and misunderstandings in general. Expressing oneself vaguely is a big cause for conflict in general. Most Japanese Greetings 16:39, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
I could not agree more. For this reason I try to be very precise, unless of course I am being deliberately obtuse in order to confound someone. That actually occurs surprisingly often. Misery 16:41, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] So like

While logged in, go to special pages, then click on the log in/create account page. From there click "create a new account" and bam, the account you are logged in to will be registered as creating the new account. It's useful when creating socks you want to be associated with you. I don't think I will ever have to prove ownership of Mizzles, Miz or Mis. Misery 20:56, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] deletion reasons

[edit] Thunderclap

You have edited:
http://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=Thunderclap&diff=1782363&oldid=1723272
and commented it as "Specifically mentioned in skill description and lolwut"

Could you properly explain here the reason of deletion those notes? --Slavic 08:55, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

None cares about what's maintainable etc, and it's basic thinking to be able to maintain it. However, the skill says "create a massive lightning strike at target foes location", which would indicate that the damage is AoE, which it apparently isn't. ---Chaos- (talk) -- 09:13, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
Those are very stupid notes. Notes aren't there to tell people about obvious(and bad) synergies, notes are there to inform people about skill mechanics which aren't obvious. 152.226.7.202 09:41, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
The skill description only ever mentions damage to the target. It does mention that adjacent targets are also dazed. There is no basis to assume the damage is also AoE.
Saying that something is "almost maintainable" is extremely pointless. It's not maintainable and the techniques for maintaining it are common to practically everything.
Silencing spears are good with skills that cause Daze, that is obvious, not specific to this skill. Attacking someone who is dazed is good, not specific to this skill.
@Chaos: Read the concise description, it is more accurate. Misery 09:49, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
Your explanation is convincing, I agree. It wouldn't be a problem if the editing comments were a bit more descriptive (though any comment is better than nothing). Thanks! --Slavic 10:03, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
His summary was fine tbh, beats my "derp"'s. ---Chaos- (talk) -- 10:36, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

And meh still, "creating a massive lightning strike at target foes location" seems like an obvious AoE damage spell to me :< ---Chaos- (talk) -- 13:22, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't see a nearby, adjacent, in the area or earshot there. It's flavour text. Misery 14:02, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Cleverbot: 23.
User: I am pretty sure '23' doesn't help you learn from other people like 'real' ai does.
Cleverbot: Why do you think that?
User: Because there are no complex algorithms, nor if-then, nor fuzzy logic, nor finite state machines, nor genetic algorithms.
Cleverbot: If women only belonged in the kitchen, the world would fall apart.

[edit] Meteor Shower

Please explain your action:
http://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=Meteor_Shower&diff=1781038&oldid=1728232
The comment you left "=/" is not descriptive, in my opinion. --Slavic 09:44, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Meteor Shower is used primarily for its continuous knockdowns. It mostly acts as an AoE snare with reasonable damage to hold mobs inside other DoTs. Maelstrom is used essentially to shut down casters and you really need an additional snare for it to be effective, or a situation where people can't really escape it such as Heroe's Ascent. Saying the two are related is a bit like saying Gale is related to Power Spike, you can get a similar effect out under certain circumstances, but the interrupt is much better for interrupting and the knockdowns can do so much more. See, part of the problem is all of that cannot be fit inside an edit summary, hence, "=/". Misery 10:05, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
OMG, Misery, I see that you really try to improve articles according to your understanding of some details how skills are working and are used on practice. It's almost the same situation like in my previous note. But please, try to understand me too, I don't like the unexplained deletion of some information which I used to see in articles and which (as I hope) can help people, in particular, in creating their builds when they can see the skills with similar behaviour and read the helpful notes. I understand that it's a kind of controversion between "strict" style of article with limited amount of references ant notes, as should be according to Wiki policies, and putting on the page a lot of suggestions, advices, different opinions and recommendations about builds and tactics, which could be good for education purposes, but doesn't follow the traditional Wiki style. Well, I need to thank you again for explanation and I really wouldn't like to disturb you often. I also hope that you understand my concerns... --Slavic 10:30, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
It's really not a problem at all, I'm happy to explain any of my actions. I'm not always right and people should feel free to question and even undo my edits. Happy editing. Misery 10:40, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Not meaning to be offensive, but I'm sometimes very surprised by people not realizing what others think. ---Chaos- (talk) -- 16:37, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
