I'm Tom, I used to edit lore articles here and be OCD about article formatting guidelines. I'm not really about anymore, but if you need to reach me I get email updates from talk page edits. Everything on this page was added quite some time ago, so much of it is now inaccurate, riddled with general grammatical ugliness, and just all-round cringeworthy, so sorry about that.

About
Hi, my name is Tom and I'm a 15-year old student living in the West Midlands in England. I've been using the internet for about 4 years now, and while mainly foruming, I'm quite into wikis and webcomics.
I suffer from dyspraxia, which means I can have quite a few physical difficulties in general life, such as coordination and speech. Most of these have been well-hidden but by no means cured through occupational therapy or physiotherapy. Due to this, I am also highly articulate, and I have quite a way with words. However, this too comes with a downside, because, to quote a friend:
- "I am socially inept because I use words such as 'inept'."
My favourite band is Muse, but I also like Queens of the Stone Age, Feeder and other bands too numerous to list, although I highly recommend you check out Jay Foreman.
Guild Wars
I've been playing Guild Wars since about January '06, when a friend got me into it. Prior to that I'd been playing RuneScape since 2004 (lol), but I've been quite addicted to Guild Wars ever since. I have 4 PvE characters across continents, along with two mule characters who are completely dedicated to max upgrades and inscriptions, which I sell here.
I have a Mesmer, Assassin and a Paragon but my favourite and most developed character by far is my Ranger, Santax Hollybern.
I'm also somewhat of a lore fanatic - I am a frequent poster of GWO's lore forum and I like to make sure the articles here reflect literally everything there is to know about the NPC/location/item in question.
Guild Wars Wiki
I was the 204th member to register here at the Wiki, having made my first edit on February 8th, 2007. I have roughly 4000 edits (not counting articles that have been deleted since I do a lot of tagging), most of which are because I forgot to use the show preview button (heh). A full list of all my contributions and image uploads can be seen here.
I mostly patrol recent changes, focusing on cleanup and helping anyone with unanswered questions on talk pages that I can answer. I'll also contribute to policy discussions and vote on bcrat elections or requests for adminships. I don't vote on every one, as I believe that a neutral vote is pointless unless you have a comment which may influence other voters visiting the page, and personally I think that having too many sysops is unnecessary and may lead to putting people in positions of trust without knowing everything about them that needs to be known, à la essjay.
As far as mainspace contributions go, I have relatively few edits, although I have been known to correct typos, remove false information and even rewrite entire pages to comply with formatting standards.
