[edit] Gaming HistoryI started playing video games many years ago on the Atari 2600; playing games like Adventure, Haunted House, Warlords, Pitfall - to name a few. I'm a fantasy lover, so naturally, I enjoyed fantasy adventure games best. The first game I played on Nintendo was Dragon Warrior. I loved it, and soon started playing Ultima and Final Fantasy games. I also very much enjoyed a game called Shadow Gate. A great riddle solving game. I did play Illusion of Gaia, but never could beat the last boss! ARG! But it too was a great game. Later on, when I got my own PC, I found a great game called Dungeon Siege. That game is probably my second favorite to Guild Wars. I dabbled in Neverwinter Nights and a few other RPG games, but nothing really kept my interest. I even tried Ultima Online which my older sister and her husband played from it's inception. Then came other MMOs, and I tried my hand at Final Fantasy. Not a bad game at all, but I didn't play it enough to be worth the monthly fee. Then Guild Wars came a long. I was in love! The story was wonderful. The environments very thoughtfully put together. It was beautiful AND fun to play. This was over 3 years ago, and while I've taken some extended breaks, I'm still rather in love with it. Can't wait for Guild Wars 2! [edit] Gaming StyleIf I'm in an MMO, I want to play with people. Why else be online? Though, admittedly, I prefer to play with friends/allies/guildies than PUGs. My current goals in Guild Wars aren't really set. I do hope to vanquish all of the Tyria (all 3 continents), but I'm not fussed if I don't in the. In the end, I just want to have fun. Be that doing a dungeon, getting killed in Hard Mode, or just put-zing around with guildies/allies. When not playing Guild Wars, I dabble in some other games like Fable or The Sims 2.
