a good weapon with a good recharge217.166.57.84 15:17, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- I expect a nerf to this coming soon. (+10 armor? reduce in regen?) --66.252.176.74 14:23, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- probably not, it's conditional, so it won't grant you a permanent 30% damage reduction, as protective was Kaolai did. 86.91.141.232 20:18, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- It lowers the pressure of damage builds that relies on conditions or heavy conditions. If they nerf skills like Searing Flames and Wounding Strike, then maybe this might deserve a nerf to go in par with them.--ShadowFog 14:28, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Spirit's Tank
I don't know why more people don't use this weapon. It's hands down one of the best for Spirit's Strength. If you have a full set of Ghostforges and this on, and you have a condition or hex, you become a 99 Armor Supertank (With +5 - current health degeneration health regeneration) that hits 35 extra armor ignoring damage per hit excluding attack skills. Since this is already in restoration, you can also bring along Wielder's Boon for a low-cost fast-casting solid heal. That leaves 4/5 skills open for PvE skills, attack skills, Res Signet, Life, etc. Great synergy with Spears since they have solid damage, range, and adrenal based skills to conserve on energy which already shouldn't be a problem, and good attack speed to help optimize the use of the 35 bonus damage. Enchant removal has been nerfed too, more reason to give this a try?
The alternative being the standard WoA Dagger Ritualist with all of their energy being used on costly dagger skills, and even then if they get hit first they're very likely to die with that massive 60 AL. That brings up the question, which is better, 25% more damage output, or 50% of your own damage negation with the ability to restore your health if you need it? Any discussion would be nice, I'm always open to hearing more potential ideas or strategies. PowerGamer 17:55, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
