I just won a HB in an unranked game and it did not seem to start me up on the title. It was my first every try at it, and I am thinking that since the update only Ranked games progress you in the title. Laforge 22:52, 5 April 2007 (EDT)

Poor Photoshop edit, theres a ghost "le" Behind the left bracket... On top of that theres ghost writing all under commander

The school International Studies Academy, in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, California (conveniently close to ANet's headquarters o.O) has a cobra as its mascot. Nathan Cox, on of the sports coaches (he coaches three sports as I recall...), calls himself the "cobra commander" when he's not using his real name. Isnt it just possible for a semi decent player to work their way up the rank system, and then wreck their own rank and start again? this way they will be farming easy commander points right? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:84.64.82.177 .

It's possible, but they would have to spend a good amount of time throwing matches to get themselves back down to fighting "easy" opponents again. It would probably be more effective to just lose to high-ranks (not hard), and beat lower ranks (also fairly easy). Wing Commander is also a US Military Positional Title for the Colonel in charge of an Air Wing. Still probably a reference to the game though.

I wonder if anyone has even Rank 11 yet? If they did, they could see what the next rank is from the title bar... Which is probably Rank 12 Legendary Commander. Any guesses? The Titles will be left as they are. Think of it as your Survivor Title after you get r2 and die. There'll be a new Title introduced to support the new format. You may display your Commander Title or the new Title in your HoM - not both together. A F K When Needed 18:04, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

I had 1 victory point in the Commander title track, and now it is completely gone. Looks like the title is only kept for those who had attained at least Rank 1, is this worth mentioning in the article?--Sensei 10:57, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
