If you are interested in taking the Mesmer profession as your secondary field of study, then you will need to speak with Headmaster Kaa.
Do not be alarmed by Kaa's strange behavior. He has walked the path of illusion for many years, and I do not believe he is entirely certain what is reality and what is not. But he is a great teacher. Seek him out in the Shing Jea Monastery.
Accept: "Yes, Master."
Decline: "I'm not sure about this."
Ask: "I am quite busy here, young one. If you wish to become a Mesmer, find Headmaster Kaa in the monastery."

Yes, I am Headmaster Kaa. Who are you? You look real enough.... Ah, Master Togo sent you! Then you cannot be an illusion, for Master Togo knows the difference.
So, you wish to become a Mesmer, do you? You wish to take up the powers of Illusion and Domination and Inspiration to foil your enemies and aid your allies? You may need some new clothes to wear, but otherwise, you look like a good candidate.
