A Sapphire is a rare crafting material. They are used in the crafting of Vabbian armor. In the Prophecies campaign they are believed to be dropped, albeit very rarely, by all creatures in post-Searing that drop crafting materials, including those in the lower level areas of Ascalon. In Factions there is a small probability of their being dropped by any creature.

• Purchased from rare material traders.
• Traded from Vabbi Trade Officials for 7 Trade Contracts.
• Five sapphires may randomly be awarded by opening a Coffer of Whispers.
• Drops from Hidden Treasures revealed with Light of Deldrimor.
• Expert salvaged from:
  • Jeweled Daggers
  • Geode
  • Armor crafted with sapphires.
  • See Category:Contains sapphire for other items.
• For known creatures that drop sapphires see Category:Drops sapphire.
• Drops from unlocked Treasures in Nightfall.
