Rushing
From Guild Wars Wiki
Rushing involves players doing something hastily. It can refer to several different situations.
In a positive aspect:
- A player leading a lower level group through a mission or bonus where combat can not be avoided.
- A group finishing a mission quickly (without waiting for AFK players or ignoring non essential enemy groups) to achieve Master's Reward in timed missions.
- In PvP, you can also organize a swift group attack against the enemy Guild Lord, in an attempt to defeat him and achieve victory before the other team can react.
- Focus the parties attack against a key enemy when fighting an opposing group. For example, a party often chooses to rush the priest or healer in a group to prevent the enemy from resurrecting or healing during battle.
In a negative aspect:
- When one player aggros a enemy group before the other party members are ready. For example, a warrior wishing to maintain adrenaline who moves to attack before the rest of the group has regained health and energy from the last engagement might be told to "stop rushing".
