A preparation is a ranger skill type. Preparations alter weapons (in most cases), allowing them to cause additional effects.

  • Apply Poison is the only preparation that affects other weapons besides bows. Trapper's Focus is a preparation that directly affects traps.
  • You can only have one preparation active at a time. Activating another preparation will override the previous one. Once a preparation has been activated, it cannot be removed by foes until its duration expires.
  • All Preparations take 2 seconds to cast and have no aftercast delay.
