Of <Creature type>slaying is series of weapon upgrade which grant a 10-20% damage bonus against creatures of a specific type (generally family, but sometimes army).

The following suffixes have been observed:
- Charr: of Charrslaying (There use to be collectors in Ascalon that traded weapons with damage +25% of Charrslaying mods. They were removed from the collectors in an update, but the mods still exist.)
- Demons: of Demonslaying
- Dragons: of Dragonslaying
- Dwarves: of Dwarfslaying
- Giants: of Giantslaying
- Ogres: of Ogreslaying
- Plants: of Pruning
- Tengu: of Tenguslaying
- Trolls: of Trollslaying
- Undead: of Deathbane
- Skeletons: of Skeletonslaying
