A large rusted gear found throughout Sorrow's Furnace and the second level of the Vloxen Excavations. Placing this item into a Gearbox will open a nearby door or lower a nearby bridge. In Sorrow's Furnace, a master gear can be removed from a Gearbox which is working, and then placed into the desired Gearbox in order to open the doors to the different areas. Note that carrying a master gear will significantly reduce your character's speed.
