Mantid
From Guild Wars Wiki
“These beastly insects have begun to appear with more frequency in the countryside and other areas surrounding Shing Jea Monastery. Mantids form small hives in the caves that dot the area, and are always on the lookout for prey—either to feed themselves, or their queen’s eggs.

[edit] Notes
- In Eye of the North, Mantids will frequently resurrect themselves after battle using False Death. Andrew McLeod stated that this is an intentional effect and "is intended to make them feel more like big insects- you stomp on them, but they still get up and crawl around. [1]
- It is not currently known if mantids are insects.
