Who Runs The Alliance
The alliance is run as a democracy with fortnightly alliance meetings, and officer and leader meetings when needed. All decisions go through Amadrus X and the ambassadors; Adrea X, All Dorin Gersallin, Dracio Pvp Ranger, Winter Passing, Mister Fuzz, and Sigmar Vowt who is a founder of the alliance who ensures the alliance is heading in the right direction, however he will not act without first consulting others.
About the Alliance
The Imperial Guards Alliance also known as TIG is an alliance made up of guilds all run by leaders who have been promoted from within, the leaders of these guilds have earned the trust and respect from the the rest of the alliance, to have the chance to lead a guild and be responsible for keep it securely with in the Alliance. The leaders work hard to monitor the alliance and to make sure no member feels unhappy along with our officers. These officers have proven they want TIG to succeed as much as any leader.
Our members are as important as anyone else within the Alliance. They are with us because they want to earn the benefits of an alliance, to have the opportunity to try new things as well as feel comfortable and secure as well as making new friends. Our members are recognised in Alliance Battles as players that are reliable, non-leavers and have the knowledge to succeed, alone or with a team behind them, our members will stay till the battle is over and treat everyone with respect. We have held Luxon towns for long periods of time and hold a healthy amount of faction.
We believe there is no benefit in joining a high ranked guild or alliance and having everything laid out for you and be expected to give more than they are capable of. The best way to learn anything is to work from the beginning and be helped by those who know what they are doing and so can give you advice. This not only helps you improve your knowledge and skill of the game but to also get to know your fellow members. We also give the opportunity for you to set something up if it is not already available - TIG can be anything you like as long as you are willing to work for it. Our leaders, officers and members have all grown with the Alliance. We have all learned so much since the day [TIGC] was created.
The alliance consists of 9 TIG guilds, where all of the members are involved in creating the Alliance, as the members are the ones who build the community and make it happen. We pride ourselves on being an international Alliance (members from over 40 different countries world wide) with no discrimination against age, race, sex or religion. Everyone is treated as an equal no matter if they are newest of members or the most experienced player. Members help each other as much as they can to not only help us grow but to enjoy the game with friends that will respect them.
Although we do have alliance rules and moderators watching the chat channels this is done for everyone to enjoy the game and not to feel offended, left out or receive any abuse. I'm sure many of you have heard the term 'N**b'; well this is something you will not hear or be called in the TIG alliance, because those that use it seem to forget they were once new to the game too, the same as all of us, and these new players can only grow in experience with the guidance that we can offer them.
We respect and uphold the rules of Arena Net as much as we can, we also expect our Members to do the same.
The Future
We are one of the longest surviving alliances with this structure, with the alliances second birthday rapidly approaching and in that time we have welcomed many members who have become our friends, and we would like to thank all involved in making the alliance, The Place To Be, and the future is very promising for us with many opportunities for our members arising, as well as more of our guilds set to be reopened.

The Imperial Guards is a large but highly-structured alliance of nine guilds whose members represent a variety of age groups and who come from various countries around the world. TIG guilds engage in missions and quests and also make a frequent appearance in Alliance Battles. Read about them here.
Recruitment
We are currently welcoming people join our alliance regardless of their level, experience, rank, age, or race, however, we do expect all members to meet the alliance rules (see website).
