[edit] Recommended order

Either way, make the best use of synergies as noted above.

[edit] For fastest Kind Of A Big Deal r6

If your goal is Kind Of A Big Deal rank 6, this order will save you lots of time in the long run:

Note: rather than doing these in that strict order, think of this list as a priority.

  • Survivor can be done at the same time as protector or skill hunter to take advantage of synergies.
  • All reputation titles are best farmed after titles that contribute to them are done, to avoid over-farming.
  • Avoid forced completion of a title. You'd better delay completion of a title to take advantage of special weekends or to coordinate with other players.

[edit] For fastest Kind Of A Big Deal early progression

If you are not sure how far you want to get in the Kind Of A Big Deal rank, this order will progress faster initially:

  • Legendary Defender of Ascalon or Survivor
  • Protector
  • Sunspear & Lightbringer
  • Cartography
  • Skill Hunter
  • Guardian
  • Reputation ranks
  • Vanquishing
  • Master of the North
  • Drunkard
  • Sweet Tooth
  • Party Animal
  • Wisdom + Treasure Hunter
  • Luxon/Kurzick
  • Lucky/Unlucky

[edit] Title synergies

If you're going for a high Kind Of A Big Deal level, it is best to combine titles instead of doing them one at a time. Here's some ideas of synergies between titles:

Survivor + Skill hunter (early elites) + Protector (easier early missions) A fun way towards Survivor, and less to do later.
Vanquish + Cartography + Skill hunter (pick up as you go) Scrape areas as you Vanquish them, and bring some cap sig's if your build permits it. Less to be done later.
Vanquish in Elona + Sunspear + Lightbringer It should be enough to max Sunspear, and less to farm for Lightbringer.
Protector to access any later areas Always try for Protector if you need to do a mission, unless it puts a risk on Survivor.
Allegiance + Treasure Hunter + Wisdom Find a spot with bounties or repeatable quests that also have chests scattered along the way.
Allegiance or Vanquish to finance other titles Farming and keyless chest runs may provide better income, but they don't contribute to titles.
Drunkard & Lucky/Unlucky Get your tickets, stand in the circles, and drink!
Treasure Hunter + Wisdom + Lucky/Unlucky Using lockpicks will give credit towards the lucky/unlucky tracks depending on whether they break or not.
Keyless chest runs + Wisdom If doing keyless chest runs to finance other titles.
Treasure Hunter + Wisdom + Lucky/Unlucky + Drunkard + Survivor Repeat the Fronis Irontoe dungeon (HM) - there's always a locked chest there so don't forget to bring a lockpick and you get 2 Ales from the dungeon chest. (KO's don't count as deaths, that's where the Survivor title fits in)
Sweet Tooth + Party + Wisdom + Treasure Hunter + Lucky/Unlucky + Deldrimor Farm Snowmans Dungeon in HM to yield around 3k deldrimor points and sweet tooth/party points from the end chest. There are also 4-5 locked chests, which often contain golds.
