The Fortune Teller is depicted in the Factions Campaign's in-game cinematics. She played a major role in Shiro Tagachi's betrayal and murder of his emperor, the Emperor Angsiyan, by baiting his ambitions and foretelling that the emperor had planned to kill Shiro.
In the Nightfall Campaign, it was revealed that the Fortune Teller is a demon in disguise who was tasked with corrupting Shiro Tagachi and to bring chaos to Cantha. After she is defeated, she will respawn as the Demonic Fortune Teller.
