Skill type. A Form is a powerful skill type.

Each of the five elite dervish forms is disabled for 120 seconds after they have been successfully activated. Skills that decrease recharge time will not affect forms, although morale boosts will re-enable a disabled form. If these get interrupted during activation, they will recharge normally and not get disabled. When a form's duration ends, that character's actions are cancelled - this includes skill activation, queued skill activation, normal attack, and movement.

Eternal Aura, a PvE-only skill, can be used to effectively recharge a dervish form that has been disabled.

The Norn Blessings, PvE-only common Elite Skills, last for 60 seconds, alter health, armor, and additional effects, and and replace the skillbar of the user with a special skill set. When the duration runs out or the form is ended with Totem of Man, the skills recharge for 60 seconds.

Guild Wars Eye of the North introduced Bear Form, a skill that is used only by the Norn, changing them into a representation of the bear. All Norn possess this skill, not just Norn dervishes. The August 7th, 2008 update changed the existing Norn Blessings into Forms.

During Wintersday, specifically the mini-game Dwayna Vs Grenth, two other forms were also seen: Avatar of Dwayna and Avatar of Grenth. These forms have a fixed duration of 30 seconds and disable themselves for 60 seconds.

In the Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack, during the mission The Flight North the player assumes the Gwen disguise and is able to use two Form skills, Hide and Feign Death.

Note: While in a Form that replaces your skill bar, a Morale Boost will not recharge your Resurrection Signet.
