Double-click to grant your party members 20% faster movement and attack speeds, and to reduce their skill activation and recharge times by 20% for the next 30 minutes. This item cannot be used in PvP.

The Essence of Celerity can be acquired from:

- Must be Not Too Clumsy (Asuran rank level 3) to speak to Kwat and acquire it.
- Originally, this consumable granted party members 25% faster movement and attack, and 25% reduction to activation and recharge. This was changed with the November 6, 2008 update.
- Often used by permas to make maintaining shadow form easier.
- Essences of Celerity are often referred to as BU (back-up) Essence of Celerity. A back-up essence will be used during speed clears when the time hits over 30 minutes. The essence allows permanent shadow form assassins to maintain Shadow Form. The most common areas of use are The Underworld and the Fissure of Woe.
