Distracting Shot

Bow Attack. If Distracting Shot hits, it interrupts target foe's action but deals only 1...13...16 damage. If the interrupted action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds.

Concise description

Bow Attack. Interrupts an action. Interruption effect: interrupted skill is disabled for +20 seconds. Hits for only 1...13...16 damage.

• The activation time of ranger interrupts (when the arrow leaves the bow) is 0.25 ¼ seconds and not 0.5 ½ seconds as the skill description says.
• After this skill has been used, there is a 0.75 ¾ second aftercast delay before your next action may be undertaken.
• The attack skills used by Spirits cannot be disabled by this skill.
• The additional recharge does not trigger if the target is dazed or interrupted by a preparation at the same time like Choking Gas as those interrupt first.
• This skill deals armor-ignoring damage.
• Prior to the May 29, 2008 game update, this skill received no bonus damage from some preparations.
