[edit] Walkthrough

As soon as you take the quest make haste to the bottom of the hill. There you will find the Slayer which is coming to kill the Reaper. It is followed by two groups of two Keepers of Souls. Fighting the Slayer is easy, but might take long. If you don't succeed in killing the Slayer before the Keepers reach you, it is advisable to take them down first. Even if you manage to kill the Slayer and complete the quest you should still kill the Keepers as they will otherwise head to the Reaper and kill him, sending your party to the outpost from which you left to the Underworld.

Another method is to stay around the Reaper and wait for the Slayer and the Keepers of Souls.

[edit] Dialogue

[edit] Initial dialogue

Reaper of the Twin Serpent Mountains

"These demons are relentless. I can see that they are preparing to attack me once again. My lord Grenth has granted me power over spirits, but I have no defense against the sort of bone creature they will likely use. If you have come to the underworld to gain favor with Grenth, then do not abandon our cause now."
"Hurry down the path and destroy the Slayer before it reaches me."
Accept: "I will take care of it."
Decline: "This isn't my problem."
When asked about quest: "Waiting here is not the wisest way to fight the Slayer. Go down the path and destroy it before it reaches me."

[edit] Reward dialogue

Reaper of the Twin Serpent Mountains

"The demons will not attack that way again soon. The Slayers are not easy creatures to create. I will inform my master of the aid you rendered to me."
