As part of the tutorial for new characters, there will be a chest that Instructor Ng will tell the character to open. Clicking on it will drop a starter weapon appropriate for the character's profession:
Starter Hammer, blunt damage 3-5
Starter Bow, piercing damage 3-5
Starter Holy Rod, fire damage 3-5
Starter Cane, chaos damage 3-5
Starter Truncheon, dark damage 3-5
Starter Elemental Rod, fire damage 3-5
Starter Daggers, slashing damage 1-3
Starter Ritualist's Wand, dark damage 3-5
