Charr Invasion

Spoiler alert: The following text contains spoilers relating to the story of Prophecies.
The Charr Invasion is the most recent war between the Charr Legions and the Kingdom of Ascalon. In 1070 AE, the assaults by the Charr began and brought an end to the most recent Guild War through the cataclysmic event now known as the Searing where the Charr used the ancient Cauldron of Cataclysm and scorched the land. The invasion led to the migration of the Ascalonians to Kryta and signaled the beginning of the Flameseeker Prophecies.
The invasion continues to this day in the land of Ascalon, and will until either the Charr are fought back, or Ascalon falls.
