[edit] Walkthrough
There are three groups at the star on the compass, then head south and you'll find two more sets of Charr that you must kill also. They are sitting there just waiting for you to aggro them. You are advised to pull back onto the top of the ramp, let the Charr group up in front of you on the bottom of the ramp where AoE spells will easily get them. If they run away, stand there and let them go – they'll be too far away to attack you back. Just AoE the ones that come onto the ramp until they're all dead.
[edit] Dialogue
[edit] Initial dialogue
Artificer Mullenix
- "We've got a problem, <Player name>, and this one is big! Our scouts have sighted a Charr expeditionary force coming this way through the northern passes. Unless we get lucky, we'll be up to our knees in fur within days. With our main forces scattered throughout the Charr homelands, we have no hope of defeating this force ourselves. Will you and your friends find those Charr and defeat them? They were last seen marching south through the Norrhart Domains near Gunnar's Hold."
[edit] Intermediate dialogue
Upon meeting the Charr force
- Charr Wardkeeper
- "Humans! Hierophant Burntsoul was right! Those foul creatures are operating out of the Norn lands!"
- "Tear their limbs from their bodies. Impale their skulls on our pikes. Leave no human alive!"
[edit] Reward dialogue
Artificer Mullenix
- "You survived! I feared those Charr would show up with your skulls impaled on top of their pikes. If they had found our base here at the Eye of the North...well, the consequences are too dire to imagine. We owe you a great debt, friend."
