The Chaos Axe is a rare axe that has a rather unique skin that glows unlike any other weapon.

[edit] Dye

Dye affects the entire axe and the aura. The color of the aura is different from the color of the dye applied. Darker dyes result in fainter glows, while lighter dyes result in brighter glows. The default color can be closely replicated using yellow dye.

Bug.

Applying brown or gray dye causes a graphical glitch in the item transparency.

• This axe is wielded by several foes including:
  • The Doppelganger for melee attacks in Prophecies.
  • Skeletal Berserkers in the Fissure of Woe
  • Dwarven Ghost allies that are revealed by the Light of Deldrimor in Eye of the North dungeons.
• This axe does not leave a shadow on the ground when wielded, unlike other weapons.
