Tahlkora insists that she overheard Varesh and General Kahyet plotting to weaken Istan. You infiltrate the corsairs to investigate these claims and make your way through the bogs to rendezvous with Kahyet and prevent a deal from going ahead.

Find General Kahyet. Prevent her from striking a deal with Ironfist, the corsair captain.

  • ADDED: Eliminate Ironfist's envoy and crew.
  • ADDED: Steal the corsair garb.
  • ADDED: Pass through the Kournan check point.
  • ADDED: Follow Captain Besuz to the meeting with Kahyet.
  • ADDED: Assassinate General Kahyet.
  • *BONUS* Clear Lahtenda Bog of Rinkhal Monitors.

[edit] Walkthrough

The bog is a bit of a maze, constructed of blocked entrances and circular paths, particularly if you wish to pursue the bonus. Keep an eye on your map to avoid becoming lost.

From where you spawn in the mission, go through the first entrance you come across to the right. Here you will find Ironfist's Envoy (1 on map). Kill them and take their clothes so you play the mission looking like a corsair. Take the closest entrance and walk to the south-east until you find Captain Besuz (2). Talk to him and he will lead you to the rendezvous point to meet Kahyet - all the while bossing you around and generally being unpleasant. Follow him through groups of Skale, and as you get closer and enter the structure to the south-west, you will encounter a group of Harpies.

General Kahyet (3) will arrive and you must kill her to complete the mission.

[edit] Bonus

To complete the bonus at Master level, you have to find and kill 5 Rinkhal Monitors. Completing the bonus is simple but time consuming. The first is to the south of the envoy. Two are to the north of where you meet up with Captain Besuz - go south and take the first left after talking to him and from there, take the path that leads north. Besuz will wait for you until you are ready to proceed. After killing those two, follow Captain Besuz until you reach the first point where the path narrows and you meet with 3 corsair NPCs (see the notes section below regarding them). Besuz will go left, but instead you will go right while following the right wall, to find the last of the monitors. Back track to rejoin Besuz to continue the mission.

Bug Bug.
It is possible to pass through some of the Kournan Guard barriers before speaking to Captain Besuz. It is done in much the same way as the Costume Brawl Outpost waterfall bug. There is no benefit in doing so, and it is more time consuming than doing the mission normally.
Anomaly Anomaly.
After the completion of this mission, you may arrive at Sunspear Great Hall with a party larger than that allowed in that outpost (i.e. 4). To arrive at Sunspear Great Hall with a party of 8, your party may contain either:
  • you and 7 players
  • you, 3 heroes, and the following 4 henchmen also available in Sunspear Great Hall: Kihm, Herta, Sogolon and Gehraz
  • you and a combination of players, heroes, or 1 to 4 of the aforementioned henchmen
