- Dead party members do not count as being below 50% Health.
- This skill will stack additively with Intensity for a 50% damage boost for spells.
- Pets alive and under 50% health will increase the duration, but dead pets will not.
- If you were to cast an area damage over time skill, such as Ray of Judgment, and then use this skill, your damage would still increase for the remaining damage pulses.
- Does not increase damage inflicted by Spirits, but does increase damage of Painful Bond.
- This skill affects the damage done by Stout-Hearted.
- This skill affects the damage done by your maintained enchantments on others, such as Holy Wrath.
- While the skill says allies, necromancer minions do not count in the calculation.

- This skill refers to the character Ural Highstone, who dies during the quest to obtain "By Ural's Hammer!".
- In the film Galaxy Quest (references to which are also present in the shouts Never Give Up! and Never Surrender!), the character played by Alan Rickman was terribly vexed by his line, "By Grabthar's Hammer, I will avenge you!" This skill is a probable reference to this line.
