The term player can refer to:

  • An individual in control of an account and its characters
  • A character under the control of a human player (as opposed to an NPC)

If you own and play one or more Guild Wars Campaigns, you are also a player.

By interacting with others in the game, players can:

  • Chat
  • Trade with each other
  • Form a party to achieve a mutual goal
  • Battle other players in PvP
