We started out as a group of friends who first met up in Second Life, we became fed up with sitting round chatting, dancing or shopping so one of our number suggest we try a game called Guild Wars that she'd been playing before she found Second Life.
Within days we were hooked on Guild Wars and to stave off the ever present guild recruiters (and for a bit of fun!) we formed our own Guild - not with any particular intention but just so we could have a cape and a hall to meet. Soon we started to recruit new members and our 4 became 5, the 5 became 6 and so on. Throughout, our main aim is still what it was all those months ago - to play the game well, be with friends and have fun!!
We're now an international Guild - we have members in the UK, Australia, USA, Canada, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and we have Allied Guilds from the USA too - it seems our reputation is now preceding us!
Some of our members play very regularly, some not so regular but we don't chase faction, set quota's or require members to be online regularly - we're not a PvP (Person versus Person) Guild as most of us mainly prefer PvE (Person versus Environment) - but if you want to play in the arena's and pass faction to the Guild, no one will shout at you!
We pride ourselves - and expect it of all of our members - in helping others (either strangers, fellow members or allied members) with quests, missions or farming and the occasional spare weapon, scroll or what have you. In doing so we help newcomers to the game learn and enjoy the game that we like playing and perhaps gain a new Guild member.

Angels of KaoS has mostly female members playing mostly female characters, yet we do have some guys as members playing female characters - our desire is that we should be seen as a Guild of nice (yet deadly and bad ass) girls! We go out of our way as a Guild to help new members get to know the game and achieve a level of expertise where they can enjoy the game - and to a point where they can confidently play with other players .
We're here for the long run - we don't expect people to be L20 when they join, but we will help them get there and achieve at least one 'Protector' title. We don't give away stuff just for joining - either gold, weapons, runes or armour but we will help members to get them and to learn how to farm them i.e. don't expect stuff for free for becoming a member, we have some generous and 'wealthy' members but they are not required to share that by being an 'Angel'.
It should also be impressed on 'would be' members that we see Guild Wars as a game of friends, teams and allies. Whilst some of the time members choose to play on their own, we do expect members to team within the Guild (and with our Allies) to help each other gain experience and knowledge and to team with other players too, especially those needing experience. Similarly, we don't expect (or require) members to devote every second they are 'in-game' to Guild matters or to helping 'guildies', we all joined to play a game - not run a club!
